Create a buttery, flaky pastry dough from scratch to be used with two fillings (one savory, one sweet) with Chef Stephanie Teekaram!
Pâte Brisée is a French, butter-based pastry dough which is flaky and sweet and works as the perfect base for a wide variety of fillings! Acclaimed pastry chef Stephanie Teekram will demonstrate step by step how to make pâte brisée dough. Once the dough is complete, you will use it to make two different pie variations- a classic apple pie tart and a mushroom and caramelized onion galette. This is a great chance to polish up your pastry skills from the comfort of your own kitchen!
Tickets for the program are $20 per household and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Participants will receive a grocery and equipment list a week prior, for those who would like to cook along.
