Moving through the themes of Black masculinity discussed in Jericho Brown's The Tradition, this intergenerational conversation will focus on deconstructing and reimagining the narratives and myths that define life for Black men and other Black masculine people. Panelists will explore how their lives, work, and participation in social movements point the way forward to a future beyond heteronormative patriarchy.

Panelists include Wes Matthews, former Philadelphia Youth Poet Laureate; playwright Joshua A. Campbell; Malcolm Kenyatta, member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, 181st District; and Abdul-Aliy Muhammad, organizer, writer, and co-founder of the Black and Brown Workers Cooperative.
